On day 20 without doing laundry & only having worn the same 4 outfits, I was so excited to finally wash my clothes!

We purchased some lemon, rose laundry soap at the nearby store, We filled up the buckets in the bathroom, and the instant I poured in the soap a little girl pops her head around the corner and waves at me. She then does a scrubbing motion with her hands, I nod my head yes, thinking she was asking if I was washing my clothes

. She, however, was asking to help me. She then bent down and began shoving ALL my clothes into the tiny bucket. I was hoping to do whites, first, then wash in order of cleaner to dirtier things, but nope. It all went in.

She scrubbed and scrubbed, dumped in more soap, although the water already had more than enough, splashed me with the dirty water, drank out of my water bottle, she even began washing my underwear, which I quickly put an end to.

Then, once everything had been scrubbed and rung out, she picked up the bucket to dump it down the drain. Her being a tiny 6 year old girl, and the bucket being very full, resulted in all the water, all over the floor, temporarily flooding the bathroom.

There's nothing profound I learned from this moment, I just thought I'd share a little bit of everyday life here in India.

Amongst other news,

We arrived at our new home here in India a week ago, and I will post another blog describing what life here looks like very soon!!!! Hope you all have been doing amazing!!!! Also I'd love it if you'd comment or message me some things about home, about Thanksgiving and the holidays, about fall, anything new?, anything the same? We have wifi here so I'd love to hear from you.

Thank you for reading this & I hope you have an AMAZING day!!!!!!!!
