Let us live life with arms wide open.

During these past  6 months I've watched a movie called “About Time.” literally countless times. It is just that good!

It is about this man who has the wondrous ability to travel back in time and re-live certain events. In order to do this he must stand with his fists closed.

But, eventually he comes to the realization that he no longer wants to travel back to try to change and improve tiny little details in his life, but rather he wants to make the most of and embrace every moment.

So let us learn to be free in happiness. To not hold on, fists closed to our past.

let us live life with hands open, and arms wide.

My good pal Emma explained to me once that having our hands open to God isn't just us waiting to receive. But that we hold all things before our mighty God and trust him to also take things away, because his timing and his planning is perfect.

It is the scariest thing learning to let go.

But also the most freeing thing I think a person can do.

I've heard it almost a million times

Time is precious

Time is a gift

Time comes & times goes & often I sit and wonder does time even really exist

What is this strange concept we claim & call time.

This thing that rules our living, our coming and going, our daily routine.

Time can drag on and on, sitting in a classroom watching the clock just waiting for that bell,

time can fly by, a 2 hour conversation can feel like 5 minutes

I have no answer I'm all out of rhymes maybe just maybe we can just sit back for a minute and  just enjoy what is, without worrying about times past or times coming. Just sit and enjoy the actual time that matters which is here, now.

Don't worry & don't fret, even though "now " appears to be but a fleeting instant, like you're rushing to keep up, like it's a race against now.

Now is also eternal if you live in it & let it be. Taking a leisurely stroll alongside it, making friends with now.

our time in Nepal has truly flown by! For the remainder of our time here we will be trekking and then we leave in just 10 days! we will have a 6 hour layover in Chicago then be on our way to Nicaragua where I get to see my parents again for a whole week!!!!!

thank you again for your continued prayers, comments, encouragements and love!!!
